We have a constantly changing collection of vintage chairs, sofas, chaises longue etc. which have been regenerated to the highest spec by the team at couchi-couchi.

SHEREE DINING TABLE : a Sheraton Revival large dining table

This beautiful table is an antique (Edwardian – early 20th century) in the Georgian Sheraton style.
It comes from top quality cabinet makers ROBSON AND SONS LTD. NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE and is made from mahogany which has the most beautiful colour and patina.

It has just come back from being French Polished and is now in tip-top condition ready for the next hundred years or so. We requested the finish not to be too shiny to provide a versatile style which can be dressed to look formal or informal.
The legs taper down elegantly in true Thomas Sheraton style and sit on china castors with brass finish above. The wind out mechanism is in excellent condition and is very easy to use.

Without extension: seats 6 comfortably.	107cms x 134cms (42” x 53”)

SHEREE DINING CHAIRS: a set of 8 Sheraton Revival dining chairs.

This set of 6 dining chairs and 2 carver chairs sits well with the table having similar style tapering legs. They are also mahogany and Sheraton Revival but later (about 50 years old we think) and have wonderful shield backs with wheatsheaf detail carved in wood.

The chairs are extremely well made and in very good condition for their age, just a few light scuffs but nothing that we felt needed too much attention.
The seats are very comfortable and have been reupholstered with an off-white faux ostrich which is absolutely stunning and gives a very subtle couchi look!
We kept the original horsehair blend stuffing and springs in the seat pads for comfort and authenticity.
There are “H” bars on the base of each chair for extra support.

SHEREE TABLE RUNNER: Off-white faux ostrich runner to match seat pads on chairs.

SOLD

It has matching coloured, large bullion tassles at each end and is fully lined in calico. Wipe clean! Practical and stunning!
The runner can withstand a small amount of heat (coffee cups etc) but nothing straight from the oven.
